i love spoony and his experiment, but i have to disagree with his opinions on FF8, IMO it’s a very good game with the best soundtrack in the series.
One word: Yiazmat. Hours on hours with great boss music!
wtf I thought FFX-2 boss music was from Sonic Adventure lol, but when I remembered the cool guitars from that game
FFXII boss theme happens to be one of my favorite. The way it is preformed is magnificent. Especially the Esper Boss Battle Theme is excellent.
I mean look at Dirge of Ceberus……… Everyone said it is a crappy game… I actually enjoyed it… We all have certain tastes in games, so It is not right to judge others based on those tastes…
I would rather play it myself… so that I can do a little exploring and such… I don’t like reviews because sometimes they are wrong and or biased…

I have yet to Play 8 but from what I have seen… It looks fairly decent… and the music is good…
XII has the best boss theme out of these IMO.
on 13 so many boss themes, is linear but good bosses
10,12,13, and 10-2 are my favorites

I didn’t like FF8 all that much personally, but FF7 and FFX are my favorite games ever. I think it’s ridiculous to say if you like FF8 your not a true fan. It’s Final Fantasy and it was made by Squaresoft. I don’t see your logic

ff8,9,10,x-2 are the best if only you added ff13 boss theme that one is really good

FFX was Squaresoft though, wasn’t it?
I agree 1-9 were a lot better than 10-13.
I thought 12 was good, even though it took a massive step out of the FF formula, didn’t like the storyline but I thought the gameplay was great and the exploration was one of the best in the series.
FFX also had a different approach, scrapping world map and ATB, this was Squaresoft, so it shows that they were going to ‘break out of the formula’ before they became Square-Enix.
